Mpatapo or the “knot of pacification/reconciliation” is the symbol of peacemaking.
Mpatapo represents the bond or knot that binds parties in a dispute to a peaceful, harmonious reconciliation after strife. When you make this or give it to someone you are symbolically reconciling and transforming the relationship with whom it is given. Use it to transform peace in your own life with the people you love or that need some healing or whom you need to reconcile with.
